Florida Gators Football Schedule
The University of Florida Football Schedule will begin at home against Toledo. Toledo is very good football team but the Florida Gators Football team should have no problems with winning this football game and starting off with a clean 1-0 start to their extremely tough schedule.
The Gators will host the Miami Hurricanes for their second game of the season. This is a fierce rivalry in which the better team doesn’t seem to always win. Looking at it on paper Florida should win this game without question but because this is Miami vs Florida it will be anyone’s guess who will win.
The Gators will have a bye week before inviting the Tennessee Volunteers to Gainesville. Tennessee will be coming to Georgia sporting a new coaching staff and coming off a tough game with the Oregon Ducks. This should be a game that the Florida Gators should win.
In the Florida Gators fourth game they will travel to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky will be coming off their bye week after playing the Louisville Cardinals the week before. Florida will possibly have a lot of momentum going into this game and be 4-0 at this point if they squeaked out the win with Miami. This should be a game that the Florida Gators should win.
The Gators will be hosting the Razorbacks from Arkansas for their fifth game of the season. Arkansas had a disappointing season last year under interim coach John L Smith but have since hired Bret Bielema to come in and rebuild their program. The Florida Gators should have no problem in handling the Arkansas Razorbacks and adding another W to their win column.
In their sixth game of the season the Gators will travel to the Bayou to play the Tigers from LSU. LSU will be coming off two tough road games against Georgia and Mississippi State and traveling back home to host the Florida Gators will be a tough game for LSU to win. Florida beat LSU last season so LSU will be looking for revenge. This should be a good tough smash mouth football game, probably too tough to call.
The Florida Gators will travel to Faurot Field for their seventh game of the season to do battle with the Missouri Tigers. Missouri will be coming off of what should be a loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, Ga. This could be a chance for the Gators to slay two Tigers in two consecutive weeks. Florida should win this game and starting to position themselves for a shot at the SEC title match.
The Gators will have another bye week before facing what should be their toughest opponent of the season, the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia should enter this game either tied with or just a game behind Florida so this will be an important game for both teams. This game between the Gators of Florida and the Bulldogs of Georgia will have to be left for the players to decide because neither team has the advantage.
The Florida Gators will then host the Vanderbilt Commodores at home before taking to the road to play the always tough South Carolina Football team. Coach Steve Spurrier will have his teams ready for his old alma mater. The Florida Gators love and respects the old coach but just not on this particular week of the year.
The Gators will finish their regular season at home with Georgia Southern and last but not least they’re in state rival the Florida State Seminoles.
The Gators Football Schedule Predictions for 2013
This looks like what could possibly be a banner year for the Florida Gators squad but they will have to play their best football every week of this season if they want to make it to the SEC championship game and have their shot at the BCS National Champions game.
